| Waugh Brow Farm nestles in the heart of the picturesque Cheshire countryside and is run as a family business by David and Ruth Jones. They farm 200 acres, with 160-170 head of cattle, 60-70 pigs and a handful of sheep, 95% of which are destined for the Waugh Brow Farm Shop. David is a lifelong farmer and a successful competitor in regional fatstock shows, as well as being a qualified meat inspector. |

Waugh Brow Farm Shop first came into being some 20 years ago, since when the business has gone from strength to strength. The recent opening of the newly extended and refurbished shop has enabled David and Ruth to offer a much larger range of produce whilst still retaining the friendly atmosphere and personal service for which they are renowned.
The introduction of the 'Happy Herd' range of hampers two years ago has been a huge success - so much so that Ruth had to forego the family's homemade Christmas pudding to ensure that a customer wasn't disappointed! As keen supporters of point to point racing, the Jones family frequently provide hospitality for invited friends and customers. Combining excellent food and wine with the day's events ensures that a good time is had by all. |
