Manwood Wines

The owners of Manwood Wines have many years experience in the wine trade and we were happy to take their advice on the wines we should stock (along with a necessary amount of tasting of course!)

Manwood Wines

Santa Helena Gran Vino Merlot
Soft and supple easy everyday drinking - a great value red!

Santa Helena Gran Vino Cabernet Sauvignon
A little more structure and soft tannin than the merlot. Best with red meat

Domaine St Felix Rouge Vin de Pay D'Oc
French country style wine from the South West of France. A blend of four indigenous grapes. Soft fruit with some tannin worth opening and given plenty of time to breath to let out the true flavour

Pinot Grigio
Pale straw yellow with brilliant reflections, it is finely fruity with hints of peaches and almonds on the nose

Santa Helena Sauvignon Blanc
Good crisp Sauvignon Blanc, a little gooseberry on the nose - a good gulping wine

Santa Helena Chardonnay
Not too much oak on the nose or palate makes this wine easy to drink any time of the day or night

Château Neuf Du Pape Chemin de Papes
The Châteauneuf du Pape wine is thick, harsh, powerful and richly coloured. It is a natural partner for red meats, lamb (particularly when grilled) and most cheeses. The finest game is a deserving match for the tannic savours of these red wines once they are mature, spicy and full bodied
